Locking Street Upgrade

The Locking Street project involved an entire street upgrade with approximately 370 metres of timber retaining walls, three hundred metres of 150mm PVC sewer installation, two hundred and sixty metres of concrete storm-water installation, and a variation to the contract of two hundred and ninety metres of 100mm PVC pressure water main. In addition to this, there was road cut and fill, kerbing and surfacing work carried out. Working on an extremely narrow road required the road to be closed during the daytime, but with the road open to traffic on most nights and every weekend, maintyaining a tidy site was essential. Throughout the project production rates were high and residents happy.
