Princess Drive Reservoir

The design and build of pump house and 14m dia 4m high Water Reservoir was something Donaldson Civil had not taken on before. All structural elements testing and commissioning had to be considered and implemented along side a detailed set of drawings involving water service pipes, valves and electrical requirements.

There was a significant amount of ductile iron and CLS pipe installed with many being made to order. A commissioning plan was produced for the client and followed with no problems encountered along with a shut down to connect into existing NCC water reticulation networks.

Local subcontractors were used for the insitu and precast concrete works, building works including timber frame and concrete block, and all steel work needed to complete the works.
